Matt Kindth är en enorm talang som just nu publicerar serier lite här och var. Nu skall han göra en längre serie åt Dark Horse som skiljer sig lite frän de serieromaner som han gjort tidigare. Intressant nog så är det en historia i SF-miljö som han berättar. Efter att ha hållt sig i lite mer vardaglig miljö. Jag tror dock att det här kan bli en väldigt skoj tidning att följa. Kanske något för de av er som saknar Warren Ellis Fell, får en liten sådan känsla av den (minus Elllis-dragen i huvudrollsinnehavaren)

Oj, det här var kul. Skeleton Key gillade jag väldigt mycket när det begav sig. Det var otroligt skoj att följa Andi Watsons utveckling från knappt läsbar (pga textningen) till riktigt, riktigt bra serieskapare. Han har varit lite frånvarande de senaste åren och hans andra försök till barnserier har väl inte varit helt lyckade. Därför är det kul att han återvänder till ursprunget. Tror detta blir ett kärt återseende.

Ok, det här är nördhumor som roar mig lite. World's finest innehåller traditionellt serier med Superman och Batman. Nu utspelar sig detta på Earth 2 (typ samma superhjältevärld fast allt omkastat) och då är det deras kvinnliga motsvarigheter som får ta över, Power Girl och Huntress. En hel del Power Girl-fans kommer dessutom vara glada över att hålet över dekoltaget är borta hos Power Girl. En gång i tiden var John Byrne den största av alla tecknare och avgudas av alla. Nu är hans rykte inte var det varit en gång i tiden. Mycket på grund av hans messageboard där han visat sig vara inte fullt så diplomatiskt som man kanske borde. Det har dock inte hjälpt att han mest har tagit det lugn och levt på att teckna kommissioner åt folk. Därför tycker jag det är kul att han skapar något nytt och försöker göra det som han var bra på. Enkla, tuggummialiknande serier som roar här och nu. Jag menar inte det som något nedsättande utan den typen av serier finns det alldeles för lite av i dag. Serier som man bara kan sätta sig ned och roas av, helt enkelt.

Det här albumet ser jag oerhört mycket fram emot att läsa. Eddie Campbell mer vardagsrealistiska serier tillhör mina favoriter och anslaget att ta sig an ett ämne som pengar och hur det genomsyrar våra liv är ett fantastiskt anslag. Någonstans så får jag en förnimmelse av Mats Kamp när jag läser säljtexten. Det är något i inställningen till ämnet som gör att jag tycker att det borde finnas enorma likheter mellan Eddie Campbells och Mats Jonssons författarskap (när det gäller det självbiografiska, Campbell är lite mer versatil i sitt serieskapande).
